What color comforter with sage walls?

I am moving into a bedroom with light sage walls.

What color comforter would you recommend? I was thinking chocolate brown. The rest of the house is very casual and comfortable. Not fancy or modern.

What color comforter with sage walls?
Sage colors can be considered a neutral so you can do pretty much what you would like with your color scheme. I had my entire interior painted in three shades of sage and every color popped against it. It was a major selling feature when we put our home up for sale and everyone commented on it.

Reply:dark brown or yellow...white if no kids or pets
Reply:I've been looking for a chocolate comforter b'c I want to paint my bedroom the popular sage color that's in. I've seen a lot of that color combination, so, I think you're right on! I've seen some chocolate comforters at Bed Bath and Beyond and one that has sage strips w/ c. brown that I'm thinking about going with. Check out the website. Good luck!
Reply:Not much excitement going on with green and brown, but it is very soothing, like being in nature. I like how sage looks with natural unbleached linen. Get a light throw like that for summer. Just launder it frequently. For winter, a warm rich color like plum or burgandy or burnt orange makes it feel cozy. Also, black and sage always look great together, too. Browns come and go, but black is forever.
Reply:sage green walls,

i like the brown, i love pink with green, i would try to find maybe a striped comforter with rust, tan, green, and brown in it.

i have a comforter with sage, cream and a muted purple that i love.

check ebay, type in a search for sage green comforter/bedspread/quilt..

domestications.com, bed bath and beyond..

good luck
Reply:Brown sounds really nice, or even tan/ beige. It depends on the mood of the room. If you want a relaxing room, have a warm brown to warm up the chill of the sage. You could also try a tomatoe red to a red orange, to look really fun and playful. Deep yellow would also look nice. Or, you could pair it with navy/blue, for a matching with contrast look. Same with green. Just play with it, and look for pieces you love.
Reply:brown... or earthtones or a mixture
Reply:think desert colors, even a bold color like rust.
Reply:i would def go with chocolate and maybe throw some white in there too ;-)
