I painted my living room a light gold color. I have sage green furniture. What color curtains would look best?

Try a print or a stripe that uses green, gold and an accent color like burgundy.

it depends on what knd of look you're going for. you could do a darker hunter green or gold to have everything blend nicely, but if you want a punch, go for a red! and you can never go wrong with a white/cream. a chocolate brown would look nice as well. good luck!
Reply:white with maybe a pretty gold or green trim--keep it sleek

Use that link. Its a great program and really works well. It will tell you exactly what colors go great w/ what. Hope this helps.
Reply:Ox blood red... a very deep red, almost burgendy... really pops with the sage and gold. Chocolate brown does well also
Reply:it sounds like you are going with a Tuscan look. In that case you could do a burgandy or a blue curtain. You might want to look at the accents that you have in the room- If you go with blue accents- go with the burgandy curtains and tie them back with the gold rope and tassle. Go to Home Goods and look at the Italian dinnerware, and pots- if you like those color combinations- go with the accent colors throughout your room.
Reply:What color is the floor and ceiling? Initially I would say choc brown for the curtains but it depends on these two surfaces as well.
Reply:Gold sheers with green and red trim.
Reply:Purple.
Reply:I would get a fabric that had both colors in it. The style of curtains and fabric would be dictated by what style/look you are going for.
Reply:A dark red, not a tomato red.
Reply:Gray tones if you are going with an ocean theme, brown if you are going with a natural woodsy theme
