When should I light white sage and incense..?

Native American Indian said this is great for clearing negative energy from your home car etc

When should I light white sage and incense..?
Don't forget to wave it around you as well! Not just the house! Light the sage like you're lighting a joint(sorry for the comparison), let it get real smokey, then go to each corner of the house, and say. . (In the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit I bless this house!) Make sure you say it at every corner of the house! Heck do it three times a day if you want. This isn't the type of spell that has reprocussions. You are just protecting yourself from whatever energies are inside your house. Also quartz crystal by your door blocks negative energies as well!! It works, trust me. You light the sage, clense your house, and you instantly feel better. I guess it's sort of like aromatherapy. Dried up white sage is only a couple of bucks a bag, and they should have herb stores near you. Good luck! And blessed be! :o)

Reply:Smudging can be done most any time. Be sure to offer prayers while you do this, and fan the smoke with a feather, usually from an eagle.

you can do this every morning .or on special occasions.. birth, death a birthday, wedding.. or just to connect with the creator.


first remove all metal objects, rings, watches etc..


then light your sage, fan the sage with a feather ( if you have one, I use an Eagle feather)


make sure you have it in a non metal container , sea shell works great.. smudge yourself with the smoke. from the head down.wafting the smoke with your hands.


then stand facing the sunrise and smudge the room from the 4 directions.( using the feather to fan the smoke) do this to each of the rooms in your house. once you have smudge the whole house this way. then let the smudge die down on it's own.. it's that simple
