Okay, first, sage green is an awesome color for walls! I salute you! You might want to find a material at Walmart or Joann's fabrics for the curtains or even just a valance...that is white in background, with tiny pink and violet flowers and green (most are usually sage green in color) leaves. If you don't sew, Walmart and Kmart have some beautiful sheer curtains with that similar pattern or just plain, relatively inexpensive, and they also carry window scarves where you just wrap the scarf around a decorative rod and use miniblinds (again, Walmart for about $6) for that decorator touch. (I've included links to several below).

You can take the white you use on your molding, and tape out and paint a decorative "chair rail". But instead of making it just a plain large line, try different patterns of animals ie: ducks, rabbits, kittens, birds, etc. all done in white, but putting in a dot for the eyes, orange feet on the duck, etc. Don't make the patterns too large, but large enough to see detail when you get closer to it. If you decide on 2 animals, put a pretty flower between each set, painting them the pink and violet you're thinking of using.

You can also buy a babybed skirt in pink or violet gingham to bring that color out from the curtains. Look around for a violet area rug or even a multicolored one with muted shades, (doesn't have to be big) that can be the center of the room. From there, decorate the way you want, incorporating stuffed animals, furniture, etc. If you have furniture you want to refinish, I suggest a bright white gloss, and if it's stained, just use Kilz as a primer.

Good luck and most of all have fun!
Reply:The Winnie the Pooh collection comes in mostly sage and it is very cute. Target has some great stuff, and you can find some awesome deals, sometimes. Good luck, and God Bless your little one.
Reply:buy a gallon of paint at Home Depot and get to work
Reply:well you can go to a store and buy a nice picture of someing that matches the room. also you can put some dolls that you may have kept from your childhood on a shelf.
