I would either go with the same color as the sofa, or a cream. Since it's light sage it would probably look beautiful. Another thing you could do is have cream curtains and a sage green valance. That's exactly what I have in my living room and it looks nice. I bought the fabric at JoAnn and made it myself in about an hour. Curtains are super-easy to make!
Reply:Consider a cream, solid, which will allow your walls to look wonderfully rich and your sofa to "pop". These will also never look like last year's trend. You could hang all-sheer, heavier panels or a combination. If you really want to bring color to the windows you could use a small amount of trim in a darker sage either in a piping or in a contrasting fabric band at the bottom of the panels. The contrast material could be reworked or replaced relatively easily if you ever wanted to take the room a different direction. Have fun - the combination sounds lovely.
Reply:That sounds really pretty! You always see couches that are the burgandys, deep blues, deep green, and that small line of cream so I would suggest any of those.
Reply:It is important to let the light in with your Burgundy walls, Go with a burgundy %26amp; sage valance , cornice or scarf with beige sheers. If you will check out Bed, Bath %26amp; Beyond, they have some beutiful scarfs and sheers with luminous effects to the fabrics. If you play up your valance to mimick the cream trim sofa and light sage ---That would be beautiful-If you cannot do that, How about bringing the eye down to the sofas with throw pillows out of the same fabric as your valance or scarf
Reply:Cream to pick up the trim on the sofa. Burgandy walls souns dark- you don't want to lose too much light. A light colour curtain will make the room brighter.
Reply:beige
Reply:a green a lil darker than sage!
Reply:Golds and darker greens would go with that. Maybe a large area rug with all those colors, burgundy, cream sage and gold. And gold accessories like candle holders or picture frames.
Reply:i would continue the sage accent color...on the sofa add burandy and wine colord pillows and cream 2...fill interesting shaped jars with beads and sequins that match your color scheme and add a cool painting
Reply:i would not add a 4th color here i would take sample or swatches of your 3 colors sage burgundy and beige ans work with those
