What exactly is the color sage green????
That is an interesting question. I was looking around for you but unfortunately they do seem to differ :(
Reply:So sage green is a color this year? Check a Penney's catalog. Whatever they are calling sage green is. One season it was a light green with a grayed-down tone. What my kids called "grandma green" because my mother had it all over her house. Then it was gone for a very long time. It seems to be back now, as a rather dark shade. Looks somewhat like what was once called avocado, which looked more like the peel than the inside.
Reply:this is what it looks like

Reply:Also, u could try asking someone u know who cooks a lot and ask if they have the seasoning " sage " I have it and it is like the lighter green color from camouflage (army fatigues) But, seeing it urself will give u a better idea.
Reply:sage green is a mid to light green obviously it is suppose to represent the co lour of a sage plant leaf. it is like a light karkey colour good luck with that
Reply:You got any sage plant in your garden? Thats the colour of sage green!!
Reply:If it's the same colour as the plant it's a light greyie green.

Hope that helps.

its quite light, like, the light green in army camoflague.
Reply:Unfortunately there is no "official" designation for sage green. Ask for a fabric swatch to match so that you can find what the bride wants.

Every season the fashion industry changes the names of colors to generate interest and convince us that this or that color is the newest, coolest thing.

Avocado, Sage, Celadon, Celery, Mint, Apple, Pear, Chartreuse, Spring, Jade, etc. etc.
