if its just your room... not you and spouse.. .i would say like a light pink or lavender. those colors go well together!

Reply:I made a crochet afghan that was sage and pumpkin, and those two colours looked really great together. Also maroon and burgundy go good with sage.

Reply:I would do a light yellow with some chocolate brown accents achieved by accessories.


This will give the room a light airy feel... yet the dark brown and sage will give it a respectable elegance by anchoring the room.


Large dark brown baskets and picture frames would really set the room off.
Reply:Yellow, taupe, or cream would look very nice with it; so would different shades of sage green or even a soft turquoise.
Reply:I have a sagish color also, and yellow looks really pretty with it. My dust ruffle and windows are small yellow gingham and my bedspread is a quilt, but it's hard to explain. I'll send you pics if you give me your e-mail for ideas.
