I don't have fresh sage, so how much ground or rubbed sage do I use instead?

I believe that you cut the amount in 1/3 if you use ground instead of fresh. Good luck

I don't have fresh sage, so how much ground or rubbed sage do I use instead?
Ground herbs and spices are a lot more intense than fresh ones so the rule of thumb is to use 1/3 the quantity of fresh called for, when using dried. That holds true for sage, too.
