grows herbs is very easy. All you need is a good size pot. One which will give the plants a little room to move. Some potting mix and the herbs. put the pot in a sunny position and water when needed.

Reply:The EASIEST method is to go to your local Home Depot or plant nursery and buy herb seedlings. You can buy then in 4 inch pots for about $ 2 each or you can buy a 6-pack (smaller plants) for about the same price.

Plants like rosemary, sage, chives and thyme are perennials (that means that they will come back year after year). They also like lots of sun. You can plant them in the ground or in a pot (rosemary gets pretty big, but can be trimmed back).

Mint is a perennial that likes the shade. ONLY plant mint in a pot!!!! DO NOT set the pot on soil (set it on cement or wood). Mint is VERY aggressive and will take over any area where you plant it!

Parsley is an annual (only grows for one year). It is very hard to start from seed. Buy seedlings and plant in full sun.

Other annuals are basil (warm weather only), cilantro (cool weather only). These can be planted from seed or from seedlings.

There are LOTS of other herbs, but I think that these are the easiest to start with!!

Good Luck!!
