lemon and sage stuffing
• 1tbsp olive oil
• 1 red onion
• 1 clove garlic
• 475g (15oz) sausagemeat
• bunch sage leaves
• 2 lemons, zested and juiced
• 125g (4oz) brown breadcrumbs
• 200g (7oz) chestnuts, such
as Merchant Gourmet
vacuum packed
• freshly ground black pepper
• 1 egg
What is the nicest-SAGE and lemon,OR thyme and lemon stuffing?
They're both nice. Sage is more traditional, but thyme is very nice. And if you can get lemon thyme that will work really well.

Reply:I find thyme has a little bit of a lemon taste to it so Ilike thyme and lemon.

Reply:Found one for Sage but also add fresh squeezed lemon juice to it before serving, for zip. hope this helps.
