I have a sage living room, what color furniture (coffee table, entertainment center) should I buy?

Blond wood (the lightest wood you can get) entertainment center and glass with chrome or stainless steel coffee table.

Distressed, or bleached, pine would go best with green
Reply:Is it a light sage or dark sage? I painted my living room a mushroom color (tan) and a green. When I put my entertainment center - which is a medium color wood - up against the green it really popped the furniture and make it more noticeable. I love it.
Reply:I have a sage family room...I have denim furniture and pine tables....wood blinds and pine trim....

A living room may need to be for formal...You can go with white or cream then use some great colorful pillows! along with a dark pine or other wood for your tables.
Reply:Deep chocolate would be really nice.

The contrasts would bring the eye up to the lighter walls and then give the room a bigger feel.
Reply:A deep espresso color would be beautiful. I also have sage walls with cream carpet. I have brown leather furniture and tables. I use cream and coral pillows on my couches and coral accents throughout. The coral really makes it "pop". Good luck to you!~
Reply:I like cherry. It glows a beautiful orange, especially if there is good sunlight.
Reply:light pine wood,or for a richer look try cherry wood...black painted furniture is fading out in todays market,as well as glass topped tables, solid wood is the way to go..
Reply:light colored wood. it will blend in nicely. the contrasts will play off the color scheme of a lighter wood easier. make sure to use similar wood paterns.
Reply:If the entire room is sage (including flooring) I would go with a medium walnut wood - and use light accent pieces and light pillows. Choose one main base color that compliments your sage (like walnut) - and then I'd select a CONTRASTING accent light an orange fabric. It all depends upon your theme and if you want it casual, formal, elegant or funky/retro!
Reply:Black goes with everything
