i have alot of spices, would thyme work?
What can i substitute for sage in my chicken pot pie. URGENT!?
Poultry season, it has sage in it .. or is it you just don't like sage?
Reply:Thyme would be great. Throw in a little bit of rosemary too, if you like it (not too much, though).
If you have poultry seasoning, use that. It contains sage and will be perfect.
Reply:I would use a combo of thyme and rosemary. Use as much rosemary as the recipe calls for in sage, then 2/3 the amount of thyme.
Reply:Poultry seasoning. But you can use any herb you enjoy the flavor of. Thyme might be nice.
