Whats the difference between a Philosopher and a Sage?

Both are thinkers and wise. But a sage knows when to keep his/her mouth shut! - LOL.

Whats the difference between a Philosopher and a Sage?
Some philosophers flee from the agnosticism. Following tirelessly the laws of logics like during the medieval period as the evil preachers did too, some philosophers had spread (out) their lying faith; had made ordinary people believe that the unique 'Lord' (philosopher's thinking), the master of the whole universe, had once created the laws of the logics. What a paradox! However, a Sage is an agnostic one, who detains both an absolute knowledge of the existence of the universe and the unknown. There is the difference between a philosopher and a Sage.
Reply:Practicing theories that seperate the thinkers from the testers. The one remains theory while the other knows better. Probabilities aside, one doesn't need to jump off a cliff to recognize the outcome.
Reply:A sage is a senior philosopher who is finished with writing books and now spends his time trying to live his philosophy.
Reply:Hi Rena,A philosopher thinks about things. And a sage sees the future and knows things. They both contain knowledge, but through different ways of doing so..
Reply:A philosopher asks questions, a sage dispenses wisdom.
Reply:One does his work to earn and the qother does his so called work but only to help people.!
Reply:A Philosopher uses thought and feeling - a Sage uses wisdom and knowledge
Reply:A philosopher ponders, a sage knows.
