The porcelain lid of my toilet is cracked. Does anyone know where you can buy a spare one in wild sage?

I dropped a perfume bottle and it bounced off the porcelain lid of my loo. It now has a crack across the top. It is in a colour called wild sage which is pretty much out of fashion now. I want to know who on line or otherwise might sell me one.

Reply:try your local reclaimation centre they normaly have stuff like that as they know they can get a decent price for it
Reply:unfortunately you are probably looking at replacing the whole toilet if you want to fix this. there are so many styles and manufacturers of toilets that no one has bothered to try and make replacement lids for all of them, especially since you can get complete toilets at the big box chains for only $70.
Reply:try home depot or OSH
Reply:try your local tip ..trust me its a good source for things like that
Reply:This happened to my loo not too long back and mine is in the whisper grey colour which I would imagine was fashionable when wild sage was - or at least when coloured bathrooms were 'in'. So far we haven't managed to find a replacement and my hubby has looked in lots of plumbers merchants etc. I live in hope. At the mo I keep it hidden with a fancy decor thing. Good luck and if you do find any replacement lids in these obscure 70's/80's colours please let me know. :-)
