I'm having a hard time choosing a wall color to go with my daughters new comforter set. Her furniture is an ivory color. She doesn't want anything bold... she wants something soothing and comfortable that will compliment her bedding and furniture. I also need help choosing a contrasting color for extra pillows on her bed. All suggestions welcomed! Thanks!
Need help choosing a wall color for sage green/light beige color scheme.?
I would paint the room "Divine White" by Sherwin Williams, with "alabaster" for the ceiling %26amp; any trim if that needs to be done.

As for a contrasting accent color, I would recommend burgundy or plum.
Reply:Wow, I'd go with the paint and drapes in the picture. I'd match the beige exactly for the paint.
A soft yellow that looks good with the sage would be nice for extra pillows, get a color wheel, or go to the paint store with a pillow case and match it.
I thought about a brown to contrast with the beige, but I think that would be too dark, with the sage, too.
I might think about some horizontal stripes, just a couple, maybe in the sage and the yellow, to pull everything together. Think about framing some matching fabric and hanging it as art work, or if you are talented, use the paint on a canvas as art.
Reply:How about pale yellow or chocolate brown or taupe
Reply:check into a dark brown

go to this link. In the mid-left side panel, you will see something that says launch color visualizer.
Click on that. From there you can choose a room, color any accents (curtains, beds, etc) then choose wall colors to accent! Its amazing!
Reply:I think pink and green is youthful yet sophisticated. I like the linens from Bed Bath and Beyond. This one is the one I would pick for a daughter...
